Our Projects

EDC HHD Asia collaborates with a wide range of partners and donors to address issues affecting health, education, and livelihoods throughout the region. Our programs focus on vulnerable children, youth and micro-entrepreneurs in low-income areas, and other marginalized individuals to bridge the gaps in health and human development in their homes and communities.

Project areas include: 
 
  • Health, including HIV/AIDS, psychosocial support, and life skills and outreach programs for orphans and vulnerable populations.
 
  • Formal and Nonformal Education, including creating a primay school, establishing health-promoting schools, and implementing a capacity building program of workshops and trainings on project management for partner NGOs.
 
  • Livelihoods and Micro-entrepreneurship Development, including promoting migrant worker well-being in Chinese factories and managing Centers across the region that support the development of microenterprises.
 
Key funding partnerships include local nonprofit organizations, government and U.N. agencies, universities, foundations, and corporations. This work takes place throughout the region, with programs in Thailand, China, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
