Project Design and Management
We design and manage projects ranging from large-scope Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to working with regional and local civil society organizations (CSOs) in health promotion, micro-entrepreneurial, and other programs targeted to vulnerable populations.
- Through the Hewlett-Packard Learning Iniative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE), we work with more than 50 CSOs to train micro-entrepreneurs and youth in low-income communities in business and information technology skills, disbursing equipment and cash grants and providing “Training of Trainer” workshops.
- The Migrant Worker Capacity Building and Better Factory Project, a two-year pilot program we co-designed, demonstrated our ability to work with government-operated training schools, factories, migrant workers, and corporate donors. This project aims to promote migrant labor well-being, resolve labor shortages, and reduce high turnover rates in Chinese factories through provision of pre-departure training, job placement, and review of factory human resource policies and practice. Our role in project implementation included monitoring and evaluation, and facilitation of stakeholder meetings.
- For the Deutsche Bank five-year regional HIV/AIDS Program, we supported and strengthened CSO partners in five countries across Asia to implement programs on HIV/AIDS for orphaned and vulnerable children and their families. One example of this work is our partnership with the Association for Community and Ecology Development (ACED) on income-generating activities in the Chiang Rai region of Thailand.
In addition to Deutsche Bank, we have also advised Hewlett-Packard, Starbucks Asia, adidas, and other corporations on their strategies for CSR and employee engagement. For more details on these and other projects, please see the Projects section of our site.
